Utah Home Performance
Utah Home Performance is a state run Program, that offers Homeowners up to $2,000 in rebates to do energy efficiency upgrades to their home. Our Program Partners are contractors with a difference! Our Energy Analysts are certified by the Building Performance Institute. As part of the Program they do a comprehensive Home Performance Assessment (HPA) on your home before your upgrades to get a baseline and then recommend improvements that will allow you to reach 20% and above energy savings with your improvements. The Program is set up that your Energy Analyst will come after your renovations to check on work done to ensure quality and that your targets are met. The homeowner submits at that point for their cash rebate. The check arrives with an Energy Performance Score for your home. HPAs are not to be confused with a Utility Energy Audit- a HPA has teeth! And gives you a full picture of your home from top to bottom! For example- have a cold/hot room?- they will find out why! Home Performance Assessments give you a full picture of your home, and give recommendations on how to increase your comfort, health and safety and help you control your energy costs.
